Directors
Rev. C.J. (Cyndi) Wright - Executive Director (English, Cherokee, German) C.J. is the Founder of the Rainbow Spiritual Education Center. The Center came about through a vision of people coming together to enhance their spiritual journey. Ordained as a Christian minister, C.J., through her own journey, found that her Christian and Cherokee spiritual paths could in fact peacefully co-exist. C.J. also works for the state as Team & Training Coordinator for the Kentucky Community Crisis Response Board. She volunteers as the Chaplain for Middletown Fire Protection District.
Peggy Greenwell - Assistant Director (English, German, Cherokee) Peggy has been a volunteer
at the center for several years. Her journey from hopelessness and suicidal attempts lead her to the Center. She was searching as many of us do for something better. She has found the spirituality and self respect
she was missing. She brings her gifts of management, organization and financial experience to the Center.
Board of Directors
Debbie Huttelmayer - Chair While Debbie has not done her genealogy, she was told of her German, Irish and English decent. She is drawn to spiritual beliefs that respect all life and all of creation, so she attended the very first program done by the RSEC and has been around since. In the past, Debbie had a varied work history which included her own home-based businesses. She is drawn to Alternative /Complimentary Healing Modalities including Reiki and Essential Oils which she now uses on herself and feral cats. She brought these interests to the Center with Health Fairs in prior years. The programs at RSEC and her connection to and volunteer work with the Center is part of her healing and spiritual path.
Elaine Perkins - Secretary (Cherokee, Irish & French) Elaine's Christian background and an enduring friendship with folks at the Center, has brought her spiritual journey to the Rainbow Center. Because of Elaine's devotion to the Center, she agreed to serve on the board. Elaine's career in graphic design has played an integral part in her connection with the Center through her designs of brochures, flyers, posters, signage, and various other pieces for program advertising. Elaine is the creator of the Center logo, loved by many. Her favorite times at the Center have involved playing the D'jembe and Native American drums, potluck and fellowship with people, talking circles, and Pow-wow outings.
Martha Paulin - Treasurer (English, Irish, German, French, Cherokee). Attracted to the programs that related to the understanding of Native American Culture, Ceremony, Stories and true History, Martha began attending programs in September 2007 and has volunteered ever since.
